OH MY GOSH! SHE'S STILL ALIVE?! --yeah, and avoiding a research paper

hey there invisible audience and my own personal future self who may or may not at some point re-read this. It's me, the person that's supposed to blog more than once a century. i'm back for a minute, and i'm in college! BYU baby :) Yeah, it's kinda been decreed since my day of birth that I would be attending BYU, despite my protests against such stereotyping, but there it is, and here i am. Seems people were right. Anywho, it was all the doings of a Certain Someone, and i'm okay with it, because His plan's working out. :) College is full of stress, lack of sleep, ninja missions to the vending machines and lots of homework. But hey, does it ever really change? This is what the rest of my life's gonna be like, right? yeah, we'll see.
But yup, that wraps it up, i'm off to write a research paper, and now the invisible audience and my future self all know that I am not dead yet as of Thursday, November 11, 2010 at 8:16-17 p.m.
Thanks and Have a Wonderful ThAnKsGiViNg!!! :) --know i'm looking forward to it :)

The Comforts of Christmas in July

There's a certain feeling that permeates the Christmas season. It's a feeling of warm brownies, crisp pine needles, nose-biting cold, soft flakes of crystalized miracle, warm hay, silent nights, blanketed couples and crackling fireplaces. Christmas music is something i turn to in times of distress. Reminders of the good things in life flows through the music.
This is the reason i listen to Christmas music in July.
I know some people reel and gag at the idea of "Joy to the World", but i find it therapeutic.
So that's what's happened today. Instead of reverting to the fetal position, i've turned on the twanging mandolins of 'bring a torch jeanette isabella'.
soothes the soul and annoys only a few.
perfect.
